FIH Pro League 2023/24 to begin from February 3

Bhubaneswar: The commencement of the FIH Pro League 2023/24 is just around the corner, marking the Indian Women’s Hockey Team’s debut against the reigning Asian Games Champions, China, on February 3rd. Excitement is building as the Indian Hockey Teams prepare to compete against top-notch international opponents. Simultaneously, Hockey India has launched the sale of offline tickets for the Bhubaneswar leg of the FIH Pro League 2023/24.

One can purchase offline tickets between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM at Gate No. 9 of the Kalinga Hockey Stadium, Bhubaneswar. Ticket prices for the West Stand and East Stand are set at Rs.500 and Rs.200, respectively, while North Stand and South Stand tickets are available at Rs.100 each.

The Kalinga Hockey Stadium will host 10 Women’s team matches from February 3rd to 9th, followed by 10 Men’s team matches from February 10th to 16th. Women’s teams from the United States of America, China, the Netherlands, Australia, and India will participate, while the Men’s teams include the Netherlands, Spain, Australia, Ireland, and India. Each team will face off against the others once in this mini-tournament held in Bhubaneswar.

Dr. Dilip Tirkey, President of Hockey India, expressed delight at the launch of physical ticket sales, stating, “We are pleased to welcome fans once again to witness the captivating hockey action at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium, Bhubaneswar, starting from February 3rd. Top nations worldwide will compete in this prestigious league, and we invite fans from across the nation to witness this thrilling sporting spectacle.”

On a related note, Hockey India announced online ticket sales for all Women’s and Men’s matches in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela on Thursday. Fans can purchase match tickets from www.ticketgenie.in eliminating the need for redemption of physical tickets for online purchases.
