Passenger Found Worm In Sandwitch Served On IndiGo Flight

New Delhi: A distressing incident unfolded on an Indigo flight as Khushboo Gupta, a Delhi based dietician shared her ordeal. Gupta took to Instagram to narrate the incident that occurred on the morning of December 29 during her flight from Delhi to Mumbai.

While enjoying a sandwich provided by the airline, Gupta discovered a worm after her first bite. Swiftly, she notified the flight crew responsible for food service, capturing the alarming discovery in photos and videos. Despite her complaint, the crew merely suggested replacing the sandwich, and to Gupta’s dismay, similar sandwiches were subsequently served to other passengers.

Expressing deep concern, Gupta emphasized the potential risks, especially for fellow passengers, including the elderly and children. She raised a poignant question about accountability in the event of infections arising from knowingly serving compromised food to passengers.
