KHL is currently in the process of introducing a new Block (A3), exclusively funded by Dr. SitaKantha Dash, Chairman of KHL. This addition to Kalinga Hospital will incorporate the following facilities to enhance its features:

An increase of 50 beds with state-of-the-art amenities.
Additional Operating Theatres (OTs) equipped for advanced Ortho Sciences, Neuro Sciences, Renal Sciences, and Gastro Sciences surgeries.
Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) with advanced technology and enhanced equipment, supplementing the existing infrastructure.
Expansion of the kidney transplant unit with a primary focus on infection control.
Introduction of an advanced isolation critical care unit, featuring a centralized nursing system in the new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to enhance patient response time.
The new unit will house advanced Gastro Sciences and a day care unit, allowing patients to undergo gastro procedures with advanced equipment in a day-care service.
Inclusion of a Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy unit as an additional service.
Establishment of a dedicated Precision Medicine Centre, utilizing genetic information and advanced diagnostics to formulate personalized treatment plans.
