CM Naveen Patnaik Presented The First Ticket Of Ultimate Kho Kho League Season 2
Odisha Juggernauts are the defending champions
Bhubaneswar : The first ticket for Season 2 of the Ultimate Kho Kho League was presented to Naveen Patnaik, the Chief Minister of Odisha. The league is scheduled to kick off on December 24 at the JN Indoor Stadium in Cuttack, where the Odisha Juggernauts, the hosts and defending champions, will face off against the Rajasthan Warriors.
Expressing the importance of promoting the traditional Indian sport of Kho Kho, Chief Minister Patnaik emphasized the significance of the Ultimate Kho Kho League in providing a platform for the masses to experience the excitement of this unique game. He extended his best wishes to all the participating teams, hoping for a memorable experience in Odisha.
Tenzing Niyogi, the CEO and League Commissioner of Ultimate Kho Kho,expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet Chief Minister Patnaik and presented him with the inaugural ticket for the second edition of the league. He acknowledged Odisha as a vibrant hub for sports in India, attributing it to the vision of Chief Minister Patnaik, whose leadership has laid the groundwork for a lasting sporting legacy.
As the second chapter of Ultimate Kho Kho begins, Niyogi highlighted the high level of excitement, especially given the privilege of hosting this edition in Odisha.
Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2 is set to showcase India’s top 145 players, including 33 young talents aged between 16 to 18. The six franchises competing for the coveted crown in this season are the defending champions Odisha Juggernauts, Chennai Quick Guns, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Khiladis, Rajasthan Warriors, and Telugu Yoddhas.
