Dhoni charges huge for a social media post!

New Delhi: Mahendra Singh Dhoni, renowned as one of the cricketing greats globally, served as the captain of the Indian cricket team, leading it to unprecedented success. His retirement from international cricket on August 15, 2020, marked the conclusion of a remarkable era. Despite stepping away from the international stage, Dhoni remains at the helm of the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). 

Beyond cricket Dhoni diversifies his income through investments and endorsements. Interestingly, Dhoni leverages his substantial social media presence to augment his earnings. Dhoni commands a substantial fan base across various social media platforms, and he charges hefty fee for a post on these platforms.  

According to reports published in national media his posts on platforms like Instagram command a substantial fee, ranging from 88 lakh to 1.2 crore rupees per post, reflecting his significant influence and marketability. 

Taking a broader view of his financial portfolio, Dhoni’s total assets amount to an impressive Rs 1,040 crores. Notably, in the context of the IPL, Chennai Super Kings have retained Dhoni as their captain for the 2024 season, offering him a noteworthy salary of Rs 12 crore. This decision was reaffirmed during the 2024 auction, where the team secured Dhoni’s services for the same considerable amount. Dhoni’s continued success both on and off the field underscores his enduring legacy and financial prowess in the world of cricket.
