BCCI Announces Full Schedule Of IPL-2024
Finals to be played in Chennai on March 26
Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) unveiled the remaining schedule for the Indian Premier League 2024 on Monday. Initially, only the first 21 games were disclosed due to the impending general elections in the country.
The action recommences on April 8th, with defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) taking on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Chennai. Additionally, the BCCI has disclosed the venues for the high-stakes playoff matches. The thrilling Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 21st and 22nd, respectively. The M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai will be the stage for Qualifier 2 on May 24th, leading up to the climax—the IPL 2024 Final—on May 26th.
Expanding the IPL extravaganza to two new cities, the Punjab Kings will host two matches at the scenic Dharamsala ground. Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Royals will captivate fans in Guwahati with two home games.
