Ashwini Vaishnaw puts Speculations to rest regarding his candidature from Balasore

Balasore: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has put to rest any speculation regarding his potential candidacy in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls from the Balasore parliamentary segment. During his recent visit to the district, Vaishnaw unequivocally stated that he will not be contesting from Balasore. Instead, he reiterated his dedication to ongoing development projects and expressed support for the current MP, Pratap Sarangi.

While inspecting the Balasore Railway Station, Vaishnaw directed officials to change the station name to ‘Baleswar’ from ‘Balasore.’ Accompanied by Pratap Sarangi, he also visited the Jhadheshwar Shiv temple, made contributions to the Balasore District Headquarters Hospital, including a life support ambulance, and inspected the AIIMS Satellite Hospital.

In response to the local community’s longstanding demand, Vaishnaw instructed the General Manager and DRM to expedite the construction of stairs at Balasore Railway Station, aiming to complete the project within eight to nine months. This action underscores his commitment to addressing the needs of the community.
