Dharmendra Pradhan Lays Foundation Stone Of Kendriya Vidyalaya In Talcher
Talcher: Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Minister of Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, joined remotely by Pralhad Joshi, the Minister of Coal, laid the foundation stone today for the Kendriya Vidyalaya in Chhendipada. This school will be located in the Subhadra area within the Talcher Coalfields, managed by Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) in Odisha’s Angul district.
Also present at the ceremony were Uday A Kaole, the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of MCL, and other company officials. This event signifies a significant step towards improving educational infrastructure and providing better learning opportunities for the local community.
The establishment of Kendriya Vidyalaya in the Subhadra Area aims to bring affordable, high-quality education to rural regions. Initially, the school will accommodate 280 students up to the 7th grade, with plans to expand its educational offerings up to the 12th grade in the future.
In line with the Government of India’s objectives, MCL is working on establishing two more Kendriya Vidyalayas in Odisha. This ceremony underscores MCL’s dedication to delivering top-notch education in its operational areas, nurturing talent, and fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by contributing to the overall development of the community.
