Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Inaugurates Dasapalla Railway Station

Dasapalla: Incorporating Dasapalla into Odisha’s railway network, Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Union Minister for Railways, Communications, and Electronics & Information Technology, officially opened the Nuagaon-Dasapalla Railway line and Dasapalla Railway Station in Nayagarh district today.

At the Dasapalla Railway Station, he ceremoniously commenced four train services that extend up to Khurda Road. Addressing the sizable gathering, Vaishnaw emphasized the historical significance of the Khurda-Balangir Railway line, acknowledging its rapid execution under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. This accomplishment has resulted in the operational readiness of the Khurda-Dasapalla Railway line.

Vaishnaw commended the state government for its unwavering support in realizing the dream project, benefiting approximately 4.50 crore Odias. During his speech, he pledged to authorize the establishment of a railway reservation counter at the recently inaugurated Dasapalla Railway Station.

Lok Sabha member Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Dasapalla MLA Ramesh Behera, and East Coast Railway General Manager Manoj Sharma, were present among other dignitaries.
