TPSODL Receives ‘Best CSR Project Of The Year Award’
Berhampur: TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) has been conferred with the esteemed ‘Best CSR Project of the Year’ award at the Indian Social Impact Awards, recognizing its outstanding contribution. The award acknowledges the remarkable impact of TPSODL’s Livelihood Enhancement Program, part of Project ‘SAKSHAM,’ aimed at bolstering employability and fostering employment opportunities.
Through this initiative, TPSODL has extended support to over 300 Women Self-Help Groups (WSHGs), empowering them with various income-generating activities such as millet cultivation, floriculture, poultry farming, and backyard gardening. These women and their groups receive essential training and support to enhance their livelihoods.
Furthermore, TPSODL’s Vocational Training Centre in Aska has been instrumental in honing the skills of numerous youths. To date, hundreds of students have secured placements in various organizations across India as skilled welders.
