Students Need to cultivate a scientific mindset: Pradhan
Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan emphasized the necessity of cultivating a scientific mindset among students, anticipating India’s ascent to becoming the world’s leading economy. The minister conveyed this message while inaugurating the construction of the permanent Kendriya Vidyalaya building in Deogarh.
Highlighting India’s current standing as the fifth-largest economy globally, Pradhan asserted that the country is poised to secure the top spot soon, underscoring the imperative to enhance students’ skills. He praised Deogarh as a cultural hub and a center of literacy, emphasizing education as its fundamental catalyst for growth. The minister acknowledged Deogarh’s unparalleled contributions to nurturing Odia literature, language, and culture.
Providing details about the upcoming permanent campus for Deogarh Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pradhan disclosed that the Government of India would allocate Rs 32 crore for its construction. He expected the establishment to evolve into a comprehensive educational institution, aligning with the principles of the New Education Policy. Besides delivering quality education, the school aims to focus on areas such as athletics, music, and magic.
