Regular service of Puri-Sonepur Express from Feb 8

Bhubaneswar: The regular service of the Puri-Sonepur-Puri Weekly Express is scheduled to commence on February 8th departing from Puri, and from Sonepur on February 9th, 2024. The inaugural run of this train was officiated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on February 3rd, 2024.

The 18421 Puri-Sonepur Weekly Express will depart from Puri every Thursday at 7:35 p.m. and arrive at Sonepur at 5:30 a.m. on every Friday. Conversely, the 18422 Sonepur-Puri Express will depart from Sonepur every Friday at 7:30 p.m. and reach Puri at 6:55 a.m. on every Saturday.

This train will make stops at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Naraj Marthapur, Dhenkanal, Talcher, Angul, Boinda, Rairakhol, Sambalpur, Bargarh Road, Balangir, Bichhupali, Jhartarbha, and Narasinghgarh in both directions between Puri and Sonepur.

The train’s composition will include One AC-2 Tier, Seven AC-3 Tier, One AC-3 Tier Economy, Six Sleeper Class, Three Second Class Seating, One Guard, Luggage cum Divyangjan Coach, and One Guard, Luggage & Motor Coach.
