KIIT Fest 7.0 Begins
Bhubaneswar: The seventh edition of KIIT Deemed to be University’s annual techno-cultural extravaganza, ‘KIIT Fest,’ began with great enthusiasm and grandeur on February 14, 2024. Spanning three days, this mega event stands as one of the largest gatherings for technology and culture enthusiasts in Eastern India.
Drawing a massive crowd of over 40,000 students, including 5,000 from prestigious technical institutes and universities across the nation, it boasts a total prize pool of ₹25 lakhs, the highest among any university technical festival in India. The highlight of the festival includes an EDM Night featuring international artist Nucleya on February 15th, followed by a Star Night headlined by renowned singer Jubin Nautiyal on February 16th.
KIIT Fest, an annual fixture on the calendar of KIIT Deemed to be University, serves as a melting pot of talent, attracting participants from various educational institutions nationwide. The festival encompasses a diverse range of events, including technical competitions, cultural performances, workshops, guest lectures, and more. It provides a platform for students to showcase their skills, interact with industry professionals, and broaden their learning horizons beyond the confines of traditional classrooms.
Over the course of three days, students engage in a plethora of technical, cultural, and innovative competitions, such as FUEGO, BUZZ WRITE YEAR, KWEST, ZARA NACHKE DIKHA (SOLO), SPOTLIGHT, MISMATCH (Prelims), Ctrl + Kreate, Clash of Conviction, Mighty structure, FLOWCRETE, Bio-Triathlon, Streak-Fection, Bio-Inno-Thon, Astro-Life, Knowledge Klass, Youth Colloquy, Mind Maze, Mech GPT, Screwderia Mecharrari, Launch-X, Reel IT, Pixel Tales, Pitch It, Error 404, Creativista, Techathlon, Kronos, Kairos, Kikstart, K-onnect the dots, Jumpstart, Teenie Weenie Tales, Fresh Face & Fresh Voice, Press Release Writing Competition, Finkross, Best Manager, Brand Sangram, Roborage, IoT ka MASTERCHEF, Tech Royale, Brain Blitz, BotBurnout, and Track Tracer, among others.
Professor Saranjit Singh, Vice-Chancellor of KIIT Deemed to be University, and Professor J.R. Mohanty, Registrar, also delivered remarks at the event, underscoring its significance.
