International Women’s Day Observed At Dalmia Cement’s Rajgangpur Facility In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Commemorating International Women’s Day, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited (DCBL), a prominent cement manufacturing company in India, organized a special event at its Rajgangpur facility in Odisha. The event aimed to spotlight initiatives dedicated to empowering women while reaffirming DCBL’s commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and gender equality in the communities it serves.

A notable highlight was the announcement of a hockey coaching center in Lanjiberna, aimed at nurturing local talent. Furthermore, DCBL demonstrated its dedication to skill development by offering positions to 50 trainees who completed programs as General Duty Assistants and Sewing Machine Operators at the DIKSHa center in Lanjiberna. Notably, all trainees recognized were women.

The event was graced by esteemed guests, including former Indian field hockey player and Olympian, Ms. Namita Toppo, and Ms. Azmina Kujur, who provided valuable insights as Chief Guests. Mr. Ganesh W. Jirkuntwar, Senior Executive Director & National Manufacturing Head DCBL, and other distinguished guests also attended.
