IIT Bhubaneswar signs MoUs with international universities for collaboration in teaching and research  

Bhubaneswar: With the goal of exploring opportunities for collaboration in teaching and research, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar has signed   Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with three international universities. The institutions involved in these collaborations are Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski” in Bulgaria, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, and Jahangirnagar University in Bangladesh.

The MoU between IIT Bhubaneswar and Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski” was signed by Prof. Shreepad Karmalkar, the Director of IIT Bhubaneswar, and Professor Rumen Mladenov Rector of Plovdiv University. Similarly, Professor Prasant Kumar Sahu, the Dean of Alumni Affairs & International Relations at IIT Bhubaneswar, signed MoUs with Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (represented by Prof. Md. Jarez Miah) and Jahangirnagar University of Bangladesh (represented by Prof. M. Shamim Kaiser).

These three MoUs signify a commitment to fostering a collaborative relationship between IIT Bhubaneswar and the overseas universities, focusing on joint projects and faculty exchange programs within the realms of academics and research. The signing ceremonies took place in the presence of the Deans and faculty members of IIT Bhubaneswar, with approximately 40 delegates from various universities and institutions in the UK, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, Latvia, Belgium, Turkey, and India during their visit to the Institute.
