CONVERGENCE-2024 INAUGURATED AT IBCS

Bhubaneswar: Manoj Kumar Parida, former Chief Secretary in the Government of Puducherry, emphasized the perpetual nature of learning in life and urged students to continuously hone their skills to remain competitive. Speaking at the inaugural session of ‘Convergence-2024’, the annual B-School Meet and cultural event at the Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS), which is a part of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA), Mr. Parida stressed the importance of enthusiasm, passion, and aspiration for greatness in achieving success.

Drawing from his own experiences, Mr. Parida advised students to embrace change willingly. Dr. Samir Kumar Samantaray, Deputy General Manager of NABARD, Bhubaneswar, echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the value of hard work, strategic action, and ethical conduct.

Prof. Anup Kumar Samantaray, Dean of IBCS, shared insights into life skills crucial for personal and professional success, while Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, Dean of Students’ Welfare, encouraged the audience to strive for excellence.
