CM Naveen Conveys Gratitude To Tunnel Rescue Teams After Successful Operation

Bhubaneswar: As reports confirm the triumphant rescue of labourers, Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik expressed a sense of relief and extended gratitude to the diverse rescue teams tirelessly involved in the operation spanning several days.

The Chief Minister conveyed, ‘I am delighted to receive news of the successful rescue operation, and I am truly glad that our workers will be returning home safely.’

It is noteworthy that among the 41 labourers trapped in the tunnel, five are from Odisha. The State Government has dispatched a team along with the family members of the stranded Odia laborers to the rescue site at the Silkyara Tunnel.

In acknowledging the collaborative efforts, the Chief Minister appreciated the Uttarakhand government, NDRF, and the Defense Team for their pivotal roles in the successful rescue mission. He emphasized that this achievement underscores India’s commitment to go to great lengths to safeguard the lives of its citizens.
