Chairman 5T  VK Pandian Visits Gajapati District.

Bhubaneswar: Upon the directive of Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik, VK Pandian, Chairman of 5T, and Nabin Odisha visited Gajapati District to review the progress of diverse development initiatives and interact with students and the general public. During his visit, he actively participated in the Nua-O Program at Gajapati Stadium, interacting with students from all colleges in the district.

Engaging in discussions with students, Shri Pandian highlighted the significance of the Nua-O program as a platform for young individuals to showcase their talents and contribute to their overall personality development alongside academic accomplishments. Encouraging the students, he emphasized the importance of hard work and self-confidence for achieving success in life. Shri Pandian also shared that the college transformation projects in the district are scheduled for completion by February.

Shri Pandian conducted a comprehensive review of the progress on nine bridges, with a total cost of 54 crores, after his last visit to the district in May 2023. Additionally, he assessed various other significant projects in the district, including the Chheligada Irrigation project (Rs 996 Crs), Mega Piped Water Supply projects to Rayagada block (Rs 180.5 Crs), Paralakhemundi Bypass Road (Rs 54 Crs), development of waterfalls and viewpoints (Rs 13.5 Crs), Jeerango Monastery development (Rs 2.68 Crs), and the enhancement of major temples in the district.

Several of these projects were initiated following Shri Pandian’s previous visit to Gajapati District in May 2023, where he participated in grievance meetings and gathered feedback from the public. Shri Pandian further engaged with the public at Kashinagar and Ramagiri, addressing grievances on various issues and assuring prompt resolutions.
