Bhubaneswar: Chairman 5T and Nabin Odisha’s Sh. V.K. Pandian visited Keonjhar District to review the progress of various developmental initiatives and engage with students and the public. His itinerary included participation in the Nua-O Program held at DD University Ground, where he interacted with students from various colleges in Keonjhar.

During these interactions, he highlighted the significance of the Nua-O program in providing a platform for youth to exhibit their talents and foster holistic personal growth alongside academic pursuits. Shri Pandian encouraged students to strive for success with confidence, underscoring the imminent completion of college transformation projects in the district by February. Additionally, he inspired students to set ambitious goals by citing the accomplishments of notable individuals from Keonjhar district.

Shri Pandian also assessed the advancement of several key projects, including the development of Maa Tarini Temple in Ghatagaon, with an allocated budget of Rs. 50 Crs. He further examined the progress of the Kanupur Irrigation Project, Anandapur Barrage Project, and Mega Lift Irrigation Projects, collectively valued at Rs. 6120 Crs, set to irrigate an extensive area of 2,44,550 Acres. Additionally, he reviewed the status of two Instream Storage Structures in Santeibhanja and Telkoi, totaling Rs. 96 Crs, initiated in response to grievances voiced during his previous visit in June.

Further evaluations encompassed significant projects such as the development of Bhimkund as a premier tourist destination (Rs. 19 Crs), enhancements to Baladev Jew Temple, Gupt Ganga & Brahmeswar Temple at Gonasika, Sitabinji Temple, and Sidha Matha in Keonjhar (Rs. 14 Crs combined). Shri Pandian also scrutinized the progress of substantial endeavors like Drinking Water Projects (Rs. 4068 Crs), Major Road Projects (Rs. 219 Crs), and various Major Bridge Projects, many of which were initiated following feedback received during his previous visit in June 2023.

During his interaction with the public in Silsuan, Keonjhar, Shri Pandian actively listened to grievances on diverse issues and assured swift redressal.
