BJP to Go Alone In Odisha: Manmohan Samal

Bhubaneswar:  State BJP President Manmohan Samal today said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to contest independently in all 21 Lok Sabha and 147 Assembly seats in Odisha. Through his official ‘X’ handle, Samal emphasized the party’s commitment to fostering a developed India and Odisha under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Samal acknowledged the support of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik towards the Central Government led by Narendra Modi on various national issues. Expressing gratitude, he highlighted the acceleration of development and welfare initiatives in states where BJP holds power.

However, Samal noted a discrepancy in Odisha, where many of the Modi government’s welfare schemes fail to reach the grassroots level, depriving the state’s underprivileged population of their benefits. He expressed discontent with the Odisha government, citing disagreements on matters concerning the pride and interests of the people.
