Bhubaneswar: The upcoming get-together of ‘BJB Friends,’ a student association affiliated with BJB Autonomous College in Bhubaneswar, is scheduled for December 17. An official press conference on behalf of BJB Friends was held on Sunday to announce the reunion.
Preceding the celebration, a torch procession featuring members of BJB Friends will commence from Barunei Hills and culminate at BJB College, where they will pay floral homage to Baxi Jagabandhu.
Duirng this occasion Bidyut Ranjan Sarangi, a distinguished alumnus of BJB College and the acting Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court, along with Ashok Parija, the Advocate General of Odisha, will be felicitated by BJB Friends.
In addition to this outstanding students of BJB College will be felicitated. The successful participants of the quiz competition held on December 2 last are also be awarded.
While actively engaging in diverse social and philanthropic initiatives, BJB Friends continues to spearhead impactful programs such as blood donation drives. The event will also feature a lineup of cultural performances.
Debasis Patnaik, President of ‘BJB Friends,’ along with Secretary Satyabrat Dhupal, Vice President Shyam Sundar Patnaik, and members Ashok Mohanty, Krishna Chandra Patra, Dr. Namita Patnaik, Subhadarsini Mishra, and Ram Shankar Nanda were present during the presser.
