Bhartruhari Mahtab, Siddhant Mahapatra and Padma Shri Awardee Dr Damayanti Beshra join BJP 

New Delhi/ Bhubaneswar: Bhartruhari Mahtab, former MP and Ollywood  actor  Siddhant Mahapatra, along with Padma Shri awardee Dr. Damyanti Beshra, officially became members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi on Thursday. The event saw the presence of Senior Leader and Union Minister Dr. Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP National Vice President Baijayant Panda, BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde, Odisha State In-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal, and BJP Media Co-Head Dr. Sanjay Mayukh.

Vinod Tawde, BJP National General Secretary, extended a warm welcome to Bhartruhari Mahtab, Damyanti Beshra, and Siddhant Mahapatra into the party. He underscored the government’s dedication to the welfare of various sections of society under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the BJP’s commitment to usher in positive changes in Odisha.

Bhartruhari Mahtab, a BJD MP, asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party holds the key to achieving nationalism, unity, and development. He highlighted the strength of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the trust in Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and the inspiration drawn from Jagat Prakash Nadda, aiming for the nation’s advancement.

Siddhant Mahapatra, a former BJD MP, recalled his visit to Gujarat in 2009 where he found inspiration in Narendra Modi’s leadership as the Chief Minister. He praised the nationwide transformation led by PM Modi and BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, expressing his dedication to bringing a similar change to Odisha under Modi’s guidance.

Dr. Damyanti Beshra, a Padma Shri Awardee and Santhali Author, expressed gratitude towards PM Narendra Modi for his longstanding commitment to public service. Inspired by Modi’s leadership and the vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,’ she joined the BJP to contribute to public welfare, particularly focusing on women’s empowerment under Modi’s leadership.
