Adani Group To Invest Over Rs 12000 Cores In Telengana, Mou Signed
Hyderabad: The Telangana Government solidified agreements with the Adani Group by entering into four MoUs, totaling Rs 12000 crore across diverse sectors. Telangana’s Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy, had a meeting with Adani Group Chairman, Gautam Adani, during the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. In the presence of Minister D Sridhar Babu and Adani executives, Revanth Reddy exchanged these MoUs, reflecting substantial investments earmarked for Telangana in the coming years.
Adani Green Energy commits Rs 5,000 crore investments for the establishment of two Pumped Storage Projects in Telangana, boasting a capacity of 1350 MW. Meanwhile, AdaniConneX Data Centers plans to invest Rs 5,000 crore in constructing a Data Center campus in Chandanvelly, featuring a total capacity of 100 MW. Ambuja Cements Ltd. is set to inject Rs 1,400 crore into a Cement Grinding unit in Telangana, with a capacity of 6.0 MTPA. Additionally, Adani Aerospace and Defence will channel Rs 1,000 crore into Counter Drone Systems and Missile Development and Manufacturing Centres at the Adani Aerospace and Defence Park.
The Telengana chief minister assured Adani of the State Government’s commitment to providing the necessary amenities, infrastructure, and support for the successful execution of these projects. Gautam Adani, acknowledging Telangana’s investor-friendly stance, expressed confidence in the region’s growth potential with the implementation of new policies. He affirmed Adani Group’s sustained and accelerated expansion in Telangana. Key officials, including Principal Secretary ITE&C, I&C Jayesh Ranjan, and Special Secretary for Investment Promotion, Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, were also present during this significant meeting.
