BJP releases manifesto: Modi ki Guarantee
New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) releases its election manifesto, dubbed ‘Sankalp Patra’ with the slogan “Modi ki Guarantee,” prior to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with party president JP Nadda and senior leaders, introduced the manifesto at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi. Key highlights from the Sankalp Patra include expanding the Ayushman Yojana to encompass individuals aged 70 and above, and raising the loan limit under the Mudra scheme to 20 lakh rupees.
Highlights of BJP manifesto:
• All individuals aged 75 and above will be included in the coverage of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
• The free ration scheme will be extended for the next five years.
• The BJP plans to raise the loan limit under the MUDRA Yojana to Rs 20 lakh from Rs10 lakh.
• The BJP aims to reduce the electricity bills of millions of families to zero.
• Three additional bullet trains will be introduced, along with the introduction of three types of Vande Bharat trains.
• Upon regaining power, the BJP commits to implementing the Nyaya Sanhita across the nation.
• Future initiatives will focus on the advancement of 5G and 6G technologies, as well as achieving energy self-sufficiency.
• Transgender individuals will be included in the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
• Women will be trained in various sectors including IT, tourism, education, healthcare, and retail.
• Rural women will have the opportunity to train as drone pilots through the NaMo Drone Didi Yojana.
• The PM Suraj Portal will provide accessible credit facilities to eligible individuals to support their livelihoods.
• 740 Eklavya Model Residential Schools will be established to prioritize the education of tribal children, with efforts to expedite the construction and operation of the remaining schools.
• Electricity bills for millions of families will be reduced, and income opportunities will be provided through the PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme.
• The benefits of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi will continue for 100 million farmers.
• 30 million new homes will be established, and gas connections will be ensured for all households nationwide.
