Bhubaneswar: Upon the direction of Chairman 5T and Nabin Odisha, Shri Kartik Pandian embarked on an early morning visit to two significant temples in Khordha district at 5:30 AM today. Sh Pandian conducted a thorough review of the ongoing development work at the Maa Barunei Temple in Khordha. Engaging with the Secretary of the Works Department and the Collector, discussions ensued regarding the augmentation of pilgrim facilities.
Subsequently, he proceeded to the Kapileshwar Temple in Bhubaneswar, where he scrutinized the temple’s developmental initiatives. Assuring the temple management committee, sebayats, and devotees, Sh. Pandian pledged comprehensive development plans in consultation with ASI. He instructed the Collector to collaborate closely with the Temple Committee and Sebayats to draft a detailed master plan encompassing the temple and its environs.
Moreover, discussions with the Secretary of Works centered around the 2 km road project from NH 316 (near Gangua Nala) to Kapileswar Temple. This road project, totaling Rs 50 crore, inclusive of Rs 30 crore for land acquisition, received Sh. Pandian’s directive to expedite the land acquisition process.
