Bollywood actresses Poonam Dhillon and Deepshikha to grace the event

Bhubaneswar: The much-awaited 23rd edition of KIIT NanhiPari Little Miss India is set to unfold at the KIIT campus on December 26 and 27. This extraordinary event will feature 27 finalists from various states engaging in a captivating showdown. The event’s highlights would include the presence of Bollywood actresses Poonam Dhillon and Deepshikha.

Commencing on December 26, the semi-finals will pave the way for the grand finale the following day. The top 10 contenders will engage in a thrilling display of talent and glamour, vying for the coveted top three spots. These exceptional individuals were carefully selected from regional rounds held nationwide since August.

A substantial prize pool of Rs 41.50 lakh awaits the victors. The crowned champion will receive a generous cash prize of Rs 3 lakh, along with a full fee waiver (up to Rs 18 lakh) for pursuing higher studies at KIIT. The first and second runners-up will be rewarded with cash prizes of Rs 2 lakh and Rs 50,000, respectively, accompanied by significant fee waivers for their university studies.

In addition to determining the overall winners, the competition will also confer titles such as Miss Rapunzel, Miss Photogenic, Miss Selfie (maximum likes on Facebook), Miss Fashion Girl, Miss Wizkid, Miss Cinderella, Miss Urvashi, Miss Catwalk, Miss Monalisa, and Miss Active. These titleholders will also be recipients of impressive prizes.

Originating modestly in 2001, the competition has garnered recognition and fame over the years, establishing itself as a unique event in the country. Credit is due to the renowned academician, social activist, and founder of KIIT and KISS, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, who has consistently championed women’s rights. Today, KIIT NanhiPari stands as a preferred platform for girls aspiring to excel in the realms of fashion, entertainment, and various sectors, providing a valuable opportunity for participants to develop confidence in pursuing their chosen careers.
