Underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim Hospitalised In Karachi: Media reports

Mumbai: Dawood Ibrahim, the mastermind behind the 1993 Mumbai blasts, according to television reports, is hospitalized in Karachi, Pakistan. It is reported that he has been poisoned. Sources indicate that Dawood is under strict security measures at the hospital.

Despite numerous reports suggesting that the notorious underworld figure has been residing in Pakistan for several decades, the neighboring country denies such allegations.

The Mumbai Police were seeking additional details regarding the hospitalization of the underworld kingpin from his relatives Alishah Parkar and Sajid Wagle.

 In January 2023, Dawood’s nephew informed the National Investigation Agency that he had remarried in Pakistan and currently resides in Karachi with his family. The 1993 bombings resulted in the tragic loss of more than 250 lives and left thousands injured. In 2003, both the Indian and US governments labeled him a ‘global terrorist.’
