This stylish and versatile electric two-wheeler boasts advanced technology and features, marking a significant moment in the electric vehicle market.
The unveiling ceremony, graced by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, alongside Dr. Hanif Qureshi, IPS, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries, GoI, Dr. Arun Firodia, Chairman of Kinetic Group, and Ms. Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO of Kinetic Green, added great significance to the occasion.
The E-Luna sets itself apart in the market with its unparalleled versatility, designed to cater to personal commuting and various small business applications. Its advanced electric technology and innovative features promise an eco-friendly and contemporary riding experience.
Crafted entirely in India, the E-Luna embodies a vision of inclusivity in the electric vehicle revolution, aiming to benefit the masses with its great savings and emission-free ride, transcending social classes.
At the core of its sleek design is a unique metallic-colored, dual-tubular, high-strength steel chassis, providing not only durability but also a modern aesthetic reminiscent of sport motorcycles. This chassis ensures a stable ride across diverse terrains, with a remarkable 150 kg payload capacity, making it a versatile option for both personal and business use.
Equipped with an advanced 2.0 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the E-Luna delivers a range of 110 km on a single charge, with options for 1.7 kWh, 2.0 kWh, and future 3.0 kWh battery packs offering up to 150 km per charge, catering to different range and price preferences. Safety is paramount, with the battery meeting the highest standards and offering fast charging and swappable options for B2B applications.
Powered by a state-of-the-art BLDC mid-mount motor with a peak capacity of 2.2 kW, the E-Luna reaches a top speed of 50 km/h. Its advanced features include CAN-enabled communications, sleek digital meters with real-time DTE indicators, IP-67 standard waterproof and dust-proof aggregates, combi-braking system, telescopic front suspension, larger 16” wheels for stability, USB charging port, three riding modes, detachable rear seat, and side stand sensor for added safety.
