SOA Hotel Management Students Secure Medals At Odisha Skills

Bhubaneswar: Students From The School Of Hotel Management, Part Of The Faculty Of Hospitality And Tourism Management At Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Soa), Achieved Notable Success At Odisha Skills 2023-24, The State’s Premier Skill Competition Held From March 12 To 15. Competing in Various Hotel Management Disciplines, Including Hotel Reception, Restaurant Service, Cooking, Bakery, Patisserie, and Confectionary, Soa Participants Secured A Silver and A Bronze Medal.

Mr. Saket Kumar Majhi, a first-year Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (Bhmct) student, clinched the silver medal in cooking, while Mr. Rizwanul Khan, a second-year Bhmct student, secured the bronze medal in restaurant service.

The Accomplished Winners Were Honored By Mr. V.K. Pandian, Chairman of 5T, And Naveen Odisha, Before Meeting With Soa Founder President Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak On Saturday. Prof. Nayak extended his congratulations to them for their remarkable achievements. Present at the felicitation were Soa Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda and Dean of School, Prof. Susanta Ranjan Chaini.
