Bhubaneswar: This year, a record number of students from Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) are gearing up for the Class X and Class XII board exams conducted by the Board of Secondary Examinations and the Council of Higher Secondary Examinations, respectively.
The Class X examination, commencing on February 20, will witness approximately 2000 students participating, while 1908 students are slated to take the Class XII examinations starting on February 16. Notably, fifty percent of the student body consists of girls.
Dr. Achyuta Samanta, the Founder of KIIT & KISS, extended his best wishes to the students on Sunday, distributing pens as he did the previous year, alongside sharing crucial advice ahead of the exams.
KISS has undertaken comprehensive measures to ensure smooth transportation for students to various examination centers, including the provision of 50 buses for their commute.
For the Class X students, examination centers are arranged at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir in Unit-8, Baramunda, and Niladri Vihar, as well as at Bhagawat Vidya Mandir in IRC Village and Vivekananda Sikshya Kendra in Chandrasekharpur. Similarly, Class XII students will sit for exams at Rajdhani College and Maharshi College of Natural Law.
