Rahul’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra To Cover 341 Kms In Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Congress leader and former AICC President Rahul Gandhi is gearing up to embark on the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which will also pass through Odisha, spanning a total distance of 341 kilometers over the course of four days. The Yatra is set to commence from Imphal, winding its way through Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, and West Bengal before reaching central India.
The extended Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra is a comprehensive 66-day venture, covering an impressive 6,700 kilometers. This extensive march will traverse 15 states and span over 100 Lok Sabha constituencies, ultimately concluding at Porbandar in Gujarat, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi.
Seen as a sequel to the successful Bharat Jodo Kanyakumari-Srinagar Yatra, which journeyed from the southern tip to the northern regions of India, the Congress party envisions generating significant goodwill during this expedition. The preceding Yatra traversed diverse terrains and regions, fostering a sense of unity and connection across the nation.
Starting on January 14 from Manipur, the second edition of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra is dedicated to the northeastern state, currently grappling with the aftermath of prolonged ethnic violence.
This ambitious journey aims to engage with communities, shedding light on issues relevant to various regions, thereby underscoring the party’s dedication to justice and unity.
