Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Medical College at Talcher Was Inaugurated.
Talcher: The inauguration of the Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Medical College and Hospital (PMPMCH) in Talcher by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik marks a significant milestone in Mahanadi Coalfields Limited’s (MCL) corporate social responsibility (CSR) endeavors dedicated to the well-being of the local community. During the closing remarks at the opening ceremony of the PMPMCH in Talcher, slated to serve as the future teaching hospital for the proposed Medical College, Keshav Rao, CMD of MCL, expressed gratitude to the Government of Odisha for their assistance in realizing the company’s commitment to fulfilling the aspirations of the people.
MCL has handed over the 500-bed medical college and hospital to the Government of Odisha, established under CSR at a cost of Rs 492 crore.
Rao extended thanks to Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Pralhad Joshi, Hon’ble Union Minister of Coal, Mines, and Parliamentary Affairs, for their unwavering guidance and support of the company. He also expressed appreciation for the support received from public representatives, including Mahesh Sahoo, MP (LS), Brajakishore Pradhan, MLA Talcher, representatives of MCL employee unions, district administration, and the general public.
