ECoR Observes National Voters’ Day 

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway(ECoR) observed National Voters’ Day (NVD) at its headquarters, Rail Sadan, Bhubaneswar. Led by General Manager Shri Manoj Sharma, employees and officials of East Coast Railway pledged to honor the establishment day of the Election Commission of India on January 25, 1950. Their commitment included fostering electoral awareness among citizens and encouraging active participation in the electoral process.

National Voters’ Day activities were also conducted across all Divisions of ECoR, namely Khurda Road, Waltair, and Sambalpur. Divisional Railway Managers administered oaths to employees and staff, urging them to enlighten the public about the country’s electoral process and advocate for active voting participation. Additionally, employees at various Railway Stations across ECoR joined in the celebration of National Voters’ Day.

Principal Chief Personnel Officer Shri Siddharth Kati and Chief Personnel Officer Shri Surya Prakash coordinated the program.
