District Sub Registrar Of Nayagarh Under Vigilance Scanner

Nayagarh: Odisha Vigilance sleuths initiated simultaneous raids  on Wednesday, targeting the properties of the District Sub Registrar in Nayagarh district, Odisha. The allegations against the accused, identified as Saswat Kumar Pattanaik, pertain to the accumulation of disproportionate assets.

According to available information, a Vigilance team, comprising eight Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), six Inspectors, and additional staff, is currently conducting simultaneous raids at six locations associated with Pattanaik in Nayagarh and Kendrapara districts. The search warrants were issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.

The searches encompass various premises, including the accused’s rented residence and office in Nayagarh, as well as his residence, parental home, and two residences of relatives in Kendrapara.
