CM Naveen Unveils Modern Educational Complex In Swabhiman Anchal

Bhubaneswar:  Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today unveiled a state-of-the-art educational complex in Badapada, Swabhiman Anchal, Malkangiri district, via video conferencing. This complex caters to students from primary to higher secondary levels, consolidating education under one roof. With an expenditure of Rs 19 crore, the state government has developed this facility spanning 7 acres, accommodating over 1,000 students. Equipped with modern amenities, it aims to nurture young minds for the future.

The complex boasts a range of facilities, including smart classrooms, an e-library housing 3,000 books, a dedicated tribal corner, activity rooms, an NCC center, computer labs, an ICT Smart Learning Centre, science laboratories, hostels, an amphitheater, scenic gardens, sports courts, open gyms, solar lighting, water supply systems, and more.

In his address, the Chief Minister emphasized Malkangiri’s significance in his initiatives, citing its pivotal role in schemes like subsidized rice distribution, healthcare, and empowerment programs. Highlighting the success of the high school transformation program under the 5T initiative, he commended the academic and athletic achievements of SC and ST students.

Kartik Pandian, Chairman of 5T, and Nabin Odisha, announced plans for a skill development center in Swabhiman Anchal, aiming to bolster employment prospects for local youth.
