CM Naveen Inaugurates Odisha’s Longest Flyover Bridge
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the longest flyover bridge today, marking a significant stride in the state’s infrastructure expansion. The expansive 3-km flyover in Joda, situated in the Keonjhar district and built at a cost of Rs 258.78 Crore, stands as a symbol of progress.
During the virtual ceremony, CM Patnaik also revealed Odisha’s longest bridge spanning the Mahanadi River on the Athamallik-Dhalpur route, with a price tag of Rs 159.31 Crore. Additionally, he inaugurated a 762-meter-long railway overbridge in Jatni, Khordha district, along with several other developmental ventures.
Underlining the pivotal role of these initiatives in promoting tourism and bolstering infrastructure growth, Patnaik stressed their implementation under the 5T framework. He expressed confidence in their ability to propel economic advancement and enrich tourist experiences, citing the rejuvenation of the Harishankar Temple in Balangir district as a prime example.
Moreover, the CM laid the groundwork for the development of Achyutananda Peeth in Nemal, Cuttack district, and Maa Ugratara Shakti Peeth in Khordha district. He also disclosed plans for a bridge over the Mahanadi River on the Baunsuni-Birmaharajpur Link Road in Boudh district.
