Biju Patnaik National Steel Institute(BPNSI) Organizes Workshop at AM/NS, Paradeep 

Paradeep: A comprehensive workshop titled “Sustainability, Energy Conservation, and Emotional Intelligence” took place at the ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel(AM/NS) Plant in Paradeep, organized by the Biju Patnaik National Steel Institute (BPNSI) under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India.

Mr. Pritam Purkashaysth, the Director of BPNSI, inaugurated the workshop virtually and highlighted key insights into sustainability in his opening remarks. Prof. Sharat Chandra Panigrahi, former Professor at IIT Kharagpur, represented BPNSI and extensively discussed various dimensions of Sustainability and Energy Conservation specifically tailored for the engineers at AMNS Pellet Plant. He addressed their queries and provided valuable insights.

Er. Sandeep Das delivered a keynote address on Emotional Intelligence, emphasizing its significance in the workplace. Mr. Sunil Das, Head of Human Resources at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel Plant, expressed gratitude to BPNSI for organizing this informative workshop.

The participants, including Mr. Durgesh Prasad Panda and Mr. Pradeep Kumar Mahalik from BPNSI, lauded the workshop for its enriching content. Supriya Swain, HR Officer at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel Plant, and Prof. Satyapriya Satapathy from Biju Patnaik National Steel Institute, facilitated the workshop, which was well-received and appreciated by all attendees.
