Bihar: Man Killed By In-Laws After Objecting To Wife Making Insta Reels 

Patna: In a tragic incident that unfolded in Begusarai, Bihar, a man named Maheshwar Kumar Rai was reportedly murdered by his wife, Rani Kumari, following a heated dispute over her excessive involvement in creating Instagram reels featuring viral songs. The 25-year-old victim, employed as a laborer in Kolkata, had recently returned home.

The disagreement between the couple intensified when Maheshwar expressed his disapproval of his wife’s constant focus on making reels. This led to an argument that prompted him to visit his in-law’s residence late at night. During this visit, a heated exchange over the phone occurred between Maheshwar and his brother Rudal. Alarmed by the situation, Rudal contacted the family, leading them to the in-laws’ house where they discovered Maheshwar Rai’s lifeless body.

The victim’s father raised suspicions of foul play, claiming that his son was deliberately hanged to death due to his objections to Rani’s Instagram reel obsession. Upon arrival, the family observed the absence of Rani’s family members from the scene. The police were informed, and the body underwent a post-mortem examination, initiating an investigation into the incident.

The grieving family further asserted that upon reaching the location, they witnessed four individuals attempting to dispose of the body under the pretext of transporting it to a hospital.
