AM/NS India Establishes Up Computer Lab In Primary School At Handia In Nuagarh Panchayat
Paradeep: In pursuit of fostering meaningful educational solutions for students, ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has established a computer lab at Bijaychandrapur Primary School in Handia, Nuagarh Panchayat.
This initiative, carried out under the CSR program ‘Padhega Bharat’ involves the provision of three computer systems, along with tables and chairs, to set up the computer lab. Additionally, a dedicated trainer has been engaged to provide fundamental computer training to the students.
This computer lab, inaugurated by Dr. Vikas Yadvendu, Head of CSR at AM/NS India, in the presence of the school’s headmaster, students, and various local dignitaries, is poised to greatly benefit the current batch of over 150 students.
Furthermore, its impact is expected to extend to all future batches. Suresha G, Executive Director of Odisha Operations at AM/NS India, emphasized the company’s commitment to holistic community development through structured CSR initiatives. He highlighted education as a pivotal focus for uplifting communities and fostering sustainable growth. The company plans to persist in supporting the enhancement of school infrastructure in their operational areas, aiming to provide improved educational facilities and create an optimal learning environment for students.
