Tata Steel Medica Hospital Kalinganagar Observes ‘World Kidney Day’
Kalinganagar: An awareness session focusing on kidney care was organized at Tata Steel Medica Hospital in Kalinganagar on Thursday, marking the ‘World Kidney Day’. Approximately 60 individuals, including dialysis patients and their families, engaged in the session, aimed at heightening awareness surrounding kidney disease prevention, associated risks, and available treatments. The gathering served as a platform for imparting valuable insights and information, advocating for kidney health and overall well-being.
Leading the session were a group of esteemed medical professionals, comprising Professor Gopal Charan Das, Head of the Nephrology Department, Dr. Sudhanshu Sekhar Sutar, Medical Superintendent and Head of General and GI Surgery, Dr. Smrutiranjan Muduli, Head of Emergency and Critical Care, along with Dr. Debasish Das, Senior Medical Officer. Additionally, Ms. Pritichanda, a Physiotherapist at TS Medica, and Ms. Rukshana, a Dietician at TS Medica, shared their expertise, offering practical advice and guidance to the attendees.
