Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Launches Project ODISERV
Sambalpur: The Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, launched Project ODISERV today in Sambalpur. The initiative aims to equip young graduates in Odisha with skills for employment opportunities in the financial services sector.
During the launch event, Shri Pradhan emphasized that Project ODISERV will empower the nation’s youth, enhancing their employability and helping them achieve their goals. He highlighted the role of NEP 2020 in bridging the gap between education and skill development, facilitating students to gain both academic knowledge and job-ready skills.
Shri Pradhan revealed that 1100 students in Odisha have already undergone training under Project ODISERV, with some receiving job offers today. He applauded the successful candidates and thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for his vision to prepare India’s youth for the future workforce. He described Project ODISERV as a model of collaboration between industry and academia.
Additionally, Pradhan outlined the 100-hour training program designed to equip Odisha’s youth with essential skills for the banking, finance, and insurance sectors. He emphasized that the program will enhance competencies, improve the employability of Odisha’s youth, and create a workforce prepared for the future.
