Tata Steel Foundation inaugurates advanced ambulance service at Guali in Odisha
Joda: The Tata Steel Foundation (TSF) inaugurated a state-of-the-art Advanced Life Support ambulance service at Guali, located in the Keonjhar district, on a recent Saturday. Outfitted with essential medical equipment such as Advanced Airway, Cardiac monitor, IV Fluid, and medications, this around-the-clock ambulance service is anticipated to provide crucial assistance to over 5,000 individuals in the region.
The ceremonial commencement of this vital service was officiated by DS Subhadarshi Joshi, Barbil Tahsildar, along with Dipak Behera, Chief of the Kalamang Gandhalpada Project at Tata Steel, Bidyadhar Naik, Sarpanch of Guali GP, and Kusha Apat, a notable social activist. The event witnessed the presence of various dignitaries including Subhransu Sekhar Mishra, Head of Kalamang, Kundan Kumar, Head of Gandhalpada, Sanjay Sardar, Lead at TSF, Dabar Munda, former Sarpanch, Bimala Nayak, PS member, and all ward members and officials affiliated with Tata Steel Foundation.
Expressing her satisfaction with the new service, Sabita Barik from Guali village emphasized its significance, stating, “This service not only ensures basic life support during emergencies but also holds the potential to save lives with the advanced systems integrated into the ambulance.”
Basant Naik from Kendudihi village echoed similar sentiments, remarking, “This 24×7 service is a beacon of hope for all of us. We are genuinely grateful to Tata Steel Foundation for providing this essential service.”
