5T Chairman VK Pandian Visits Balasore
Bhubaneswar: In accordance with the directives of Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik, Chairman of 5T and Nabin Odisha, Shri V.K. Pandian visited Balasore District to assess the progress of various developmental projects and interacted with students and the general public.
As part of his visit, he actively participated in the Nua-O Program held at Police Ground, Balasore, where he interacted with students from all colleges in the district. Engaging in discussions with the students, he highlighted the significance of the Nua-O program, which serves as a platform for young individuals to showcase their talents, fostering overall personality development alongside academic achievements.
Shri Pandian conducted a comprehensive review of the advancements in the Teaching Hospital & Cancer Hospital at Fakir Mohan Medical College & Hospital, with a budget of Rs 369.32 Crores. Additionally, he assessed the progress of various other major projects in the district, such as the Salandi Main Canal, Bankatira Barrage, Bhograi Sanskar Yojana, Mega PWS to Balasore Municipality, Remuna & Nilgiri NAC, and Khaira, Balasore Sadar, and Remuna blocks. He also oversaw initiatives related to the development of Panchalingeswar Temple, Khrirachora Gopinath Temple, Chandaneswar Temple, Shantikanan, major roads, bridges, among others.
Several of these projects were initiated following Sh Pandian’s previous visit to Balasore District in June 2023, during which he attended grievance meetings and gathered feedback from the public.
Later in the day, Shri Pandian visited the Nilgiri Sub-divisional Hospital and the Mission Shakti cafe operating on the campus. He also visited Bahanaga, expressing gratitude to the residents for their humanitarian efforts during a tragic train accident in June of the previous year. Shri Pandian shared details about the CM’s commitment to developing Bahanaga school under the 5T transformation, the model GP development of Bahanaga, and the 5T transformation of PHC, Bahanaga, with a total budget of 6 crores.
Throughout the day, Shri Pandian interacted with the public in Balasore, Nilgiri, and Soro, addressing various grievances and assuring prompt resolutions.
