IMD Predicts Dense Fog In Odisha Till December 27
Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that dense fog is expected in various districts of Odisha within the next 48 hours, as reported on Monday. Minimum temperatures are anticipated to remain relatively stable across many districts in Odisha over the next 4 to 5 days. The Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, in its bulletin, forecasts dry weather prevailing in the Odisha districts, with the likelihood of shallow to moderate fog in some areas during the morning hours on Tuesday.
In a cautionary notice with a yellow warning, the IMD highlighted the potential for dense fog at one or two locations in Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sonepur, Boudh, Balangir, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, and Koraput. Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to see dry weather, with the possibility of shallow to moderate fog in the morning hours in some Odisha districts.
The Meteorological Centre issued a yellow warning specifically for dense fog in select areas of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Cuttack, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sonepur, Boudh, Balangir, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, and Koraput districts.
