Sambalpur: IIM Sambalpur, renowned for its excellence in management education, is now accepting applications for an MBA in Fintech Management, offered in collaboration with the NSE Academy in a blended format. This marks the debut of a Fintech-focused MBA degree program by an IIM. Additionally, the institution is introducing admissions for a dual degree program, allowing candidates to pursue an MBA in International Finance from Sorbonne Business School, Paris.

The MBA in Fintech Management is tailored to impart specialized skills, knowledge, and experience, enabling graduates to embark on entrepreneurial ventures or contribute as intrapreneurs in the flourishing Fintech ecosystem. The 18-month program, comprising 17 meticulously crafted courses across three terms, ensures a comprehensive learning experience.
Designed for working professionals, the programs feature a comprehensive curriculum with 17 specialized courses. Considering their blended format, professionals from Asia and Europe are encouraged to apply. The programs offer immersive experiences at IIM Sambalpur and the NSE Academy in Mumbai, as well as international immersion at Sorbonne Business School (Paris) for dual-degree students.
The deadline for online applications is May 24, 2024. Professor Diwahar Nadar, Programme Chairperson at IIM Sambalpur, details the blended learning approach of the MBA in Fintech Management program, combining online lectures on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays with in-person sessions at IIM Sambalpur each semester.
Notably, the program features dedicated incubator training, providing mentorship for launching Fintech startups. It fosters collaborations with industry, academia, and the Fintech community, offering networking opportunities and entrepreneurial training. To facilitate discussions among stakeholders, a roundtable discussion is scheduled for May 5th at the National Stock Exchange, BKC in Mumbai.
Eligibility criteria include holding a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks, preferably in fields like business, economics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science. Applicants should have at least 2 years of post-qualification managerial, entrepreneurial, or professional experience by the application deadline.
